Teleworking is here to stay. Although work from home workers report higher happiness and productivity levels, their utility bills such as electricity, internet, office supplies, equipment, online subscriptions, and other work tools are adding up. But, most importantly, you never saw it coming that our homes are now and for most of the workforce, an important extension of the Corporate work space. Never before, being full-time Teleworker or Hybrid, home-office space has become so relevant in our lives. On the other hand, Employers, faced with an increased demand from Employees to be allowed to work from home, are faced with a reduction of Corporate office space, which are becoming more and more spaces for Corporate gatherings, client meetings and events. As mentioned earlier, with productivity levels, if not the same, mostly higher, what sounds to be a win-win situation for both Employer and Employee, we believe it could be more JUST! Employers are getting considerable savings, especially on office space leasing. Why not share some of those savings with Teleworkers in order to compensate for home-office use?
